AF type question.... Help?

okokok... why is it that when I'm on AF at home the threads don't update by themselves? IE: If I post in a thread, and then go to the main camaro forum, my post isn't listed in the thread, nor does the thread move to the top of the list. If I post a new thread, it works ok, but I have to press F5 to get my in thread posts to update.

I also have to hit the back button twice to go back a screen.

This is the only website I have problems with. Anyone have any ideas???

(Is this like some sort of pre-ban warning? )

Absofrigginlutely ,

, Its because your using the back button to access the main forum and if your going back to the page before you posted. You post obviously won't be registered. Try hitting the werd camaro after automotive forums and chevrolet in the highlighted bar area. That will take you to the current forum listing.

Re: AF type question.... Help?

Let me clarify... If I post in a thread, no matter HOW I get back to the main forum ("Camaro" or whatever) I still have to hit F5 to get the screen to update. If I START a NEW thread it works ok.

I am not THAT old that I don't understand what the "back" button does, I was just saying that for some reason (only on the AF), when I press the back button (ie if I read a thread and don't post... which happens alot because, well, you know why...) I have to press it twice... which means something is totally F'd up, just not sure what.

Re: AF type question.... Help?

Well then I would think it would have to do with your old cookies and the new AF not working well together. Try clearing your old cookies and see if that changes anything.

i spoke to god and he said it's because he hates you. he also said if you sort out those rusty manifolds/headers he'll think about changing it.

Around here we would refer the repair ticket as a Id10t - user defined error

Seriously I don't think there's really anything that could be done from the AF side. When traffic is high all I do is tap the back, drop list back to camaro and just hit refresh.

heh, dude EVERYBODY hates me for one reason or another... sometimes that seems like it includes the big guy too.

John, I just got back from a week at the beach, I'll try that tonight and let you know how it works.
