Question Coming Home

Ok guys getting back into chevy again after a few years of terrible experiences with dodge and fords.Looking to buy a 4Dr blazer LS possibly 98 to 2001 models. I guess this should be a poll .Tryin to find the common problems I guess with this model and what I should loook forward to.
So far a couple of people I have spoken to said they were happy with them.

Re: Coming Home

I have a 97 2door. Good truck even when its broken. Your looking for a 98 plus. Kinda differant probs then I have with the 97. 97s have bad ignition switches that cause tons of problems, but an easy fix, Ball joints, Oil cooler line leak. I am doing the oil lines tomorrow so not too sure how much of pain in the azz its going to be be. The rest just seems normal no matter what brand of car you buy. If you want to put in a lift kit, its a lot of $$$. So look into a ZR2 if thats the case.

Welcome back to GM

Re: Coming Home

There was a poll on this a while back. If I remember correctly, the 99's seemed to have fewer problems overall than most of the other years. I have been very happy with mine, just routine maintenance and replacing common wear parts.
