The wires for the cruise are allready in the steering column, the only thing that is different is the clock spring for the airbag, when you remove the airbag, remove the steering wheel, you will see a plastic rotating peice, that is the clock spring, do you have the one that has the wires for the cruise???? If you dont, I have one on a van that I am going to scrap, I will give it to you if you pay for the shipping. I did the same thing you want to do, I installed cruise on a 95, and was shocked at how easy it was to do it, all the wiring is there, just need to install the control unit and buttons.

Hello coalminer,

Yes I have the plastic clock ring, all wires to and from it inclusive the buttons. In reading I need to remove the air bag? the clock ring mounts under the air bag?
Thank you for offering the one you have, but I have it already. I'm sure someone else could use it though.
Just how hard is it to install?
Thank you,
Mark

Yes, the airbag and the steering wheel have to come off, when you get to that point, its pretty easy, just make sure that the clock spring and steering wheel are centered when you install it.

Thank you coalminer.

Sounds simple enough, you've been very helpful. I probably won't get to it till the weekend of July Eighth but I'll let you know how it went.

Mark
