Step bar fasteners
I have Kia brand step bars on my '05 Sorento, and had to take them off. Unfortunately, I have lost the offset fasteners into the body where they mount. Is this a standard part that can be bought, and what do I ask for?

After checking the local auto parts stores, and the 4x4 dealership, I ended up going back to the dealership. The step bar installation kit is $16.05. This kit is an upgrade from the original, and the attachment clips are twice as sturdy. I recommend getting the new kit and replacing your old fasteners if you are planning on taking the bars off.
Luckily the Kia parts dept. had received an incomplete kit, and gave me the clips I needed to reinstall my bars. Big kudos go out to Ray Carter Kia!!!
