airbag steering wheel

Hi!

Does anybody know if there are any aftermarket airbag steering wheels that fit on 98+ Trans Ams? Or maybe a newer model air bag wheel? Has anybody experience with that or knows any urls where to get something like that?

Thanx in advance!

Re: airbag steering wheel

There are some companies over here in Europe where they offer aftermarket airbag steering wheels for common european cars, such as for the Golf. One of them is Raid:

But the market for US cars ist too small for them.

Well, to be honest - in my opinion the stock steering wheel is a little too big and looks clumsy with it's huge square airbag. I'm pretty sure that there are smaller, more sportive steering wheels for the car, but I've found none so far with an airbag. And I don't like to abandon the safety of such a thing. I would also be satisfied if one of the more modern looking steering wheels from other Pontiac Models would fit. The one from the G6 looks rather neat. Any Chance it would fit and work properly?
