Slow down light

I was looking at a 328 online that my friend wants to purchase and we saw a light that says "Slow Down" to the left of the speedometer. What is this light for?

There are two. There's one on the left and one on the right. They indicate a too hot condition in one of the two catalytic converters. This can be caused by a plugged exhaust system or the engine running too rich for some reason.
