my 97 camaro

allright guys i need u to help me out.... i have a 97' v6 camaro and my check engine light keeps coming on a flashing. About 2 weeks ago i took it to the shop and had new spark plugs and wires put on and i changed the coils myself. Well when i took it to autozone they told me i had a misfire in my 6 cylinder. well like i said i took it to the shop and it ran fine for 3-4 days then all the sudden started running bad again and the check engine light came back on. So i took it back to autozone and they ran it on the computer and they said that i have a miss in my number 6 cylinder again. If anyone could help me out here and tell me whats wrong i would thank u forever..

Re: my 97 camaro

Well, if it ran fine then all the sudden went back to having problems, maybe the plug wire either wasn't on tight or was too close to the exhaust and got bunrned.

Re: my 97 camaro

make sure the wire isn't shorting out, and go to autozone and have them scan it. It's free for them to scan it, dont let them tell you otherwise, and write down the code number and description right from the scanner (not what the guy says), then post them up here.
