clutch sticking..
My clutch pedal sticks down when in normal driving a lot and doesnt release and snap back up until you give it a little gas. It deoesnt do it as bad when the car has been running for a while but is there a reason for this?

crankwalk is very unlikely, Check your master and slave cylinder first. Look under your driver side floor mat, if there is a puddle of fluid then your slave cylinder is out. Check all the fluid levels in the drivetrain. Crankwalk is much overrated.

the car has 111,000 miles on it and ive heard if crankwalk is gonna happen it will be way earlier than that in most cases... i dunno its wierd because after the car has been ran for a while it gets better.
And the clutch itself catches like .2 inches off of the floor and every other car i have ever driven the clutch catches up higher a lot??

When I had the ACT2600 the pedal got stuck when I first was driving it before it really warmed up..it either got "stuck" or it came up very slowly. Eventually, due to other problems, I had an exedy organic stage 2 put it..and not it's smooooth as silk.
The engagement point is adjustable..I had mine adjusted...also with a diff pressure plate.

I agree with crunchy, check your clutch cylinders. The culprit is most likely something simple. Have you tried bleeding the clutch lately? If not, you might as well give it a shot. And people need to quit all this crankwalk nonsense, of all the people on this board, very few have gotten it, and the same goes with around the world. It has been blown WAY out of proportion and I'm sick of it. |
