Hey all,
Just looking for a nice little ride, I have always wanted to get a 5.0 because of their looks, not into any racing at all, just wanted to know how these cars are from your opinions, im googling away but just wanted some insight. Again, its an 1988 Mustang GT Convertible Mclaren, automatic (prefer it that way), its got 76k miles on it. What would be a good purchase price from a non-dealer? I was thinking around 5 to 7k ish? Thanks for the help all, BLASK |

Re: Looking to get a 1988 Mustang GT Convertible Mclaren , any tips?
Blask,
If your looking for a '87-'93 convertible Mustang, you can't go wrong with an ASC McLaren. It has some great modifications from a standard GT that gets the looks, and you'll be exclusive at any mustang gathering. Its basically a standard 5.0 engine, but it does have a lowered stance, a racecraft suspension, and a lower raked windshield for a more sleek look. The lower center of gravity and upgraded suspension makes this car handle much better than a regular GT. I've owned an '88 since new. #688. Triple blue, Azura Blue paint, Blue Leather interior, and a blue canvas top. Automatic. 1 of 55 that year, total of 1015 made in 1988. I could go on, check out the ascmclaren.com website. If your looking for a more rare car, look for an '87 or '89, they made a lot less cars those years. |

Hey, I forgot.
Check out Ebay, there have been about 20 go up for sale in the last 4 months and there have been quite a few not sell. Prices have be extremely low for some nice ones (so low I've thought of picking another one up) Good luck |
