Re: timing problem

Timing at 700 RPM idle should be at 10 deg BTDC.

What kind of work were you doing?

Are the wires going to the right plugs and in the right order(double check)?

Did you remove the distributer from the head?

What procedure are you using to check timing?

Is the engine warm or cold?

Which mark are you looking at?

Do you have any vac or intake leaks?
