valve cover

When I look at camaros I see something connected to one of the valve covers. I looks like a hose. I was just was wondering what it was.Look in this picture at the left valve cover. Towrds the fire wall.r.

Do you mean the PVC valve hose?

it is a hose that goes to the pcv valve which lets gases excape from the crank.
