01 GASE Seat problems

2001 GA SE Power Raise/Lower driver seat manual slide/recline.

couple days after we got the car the raise/lower quit working completely

bout 4 - 5 days ago the manual recline handle got stuck and will not pull up, therefor the seat is stuck in its current possision which is bad cause its my moms car(5'3) and me n my dad(5'10/6'5) drive it as well from time to time.

anyone having the same problem or have any ideas on how to get the handle to move again?

Thanx in advance

Re: 01 GASE Seat problems

Without sitting in the seat, try rocking the back of the seat back and forth gently while pulling the handle. The locking mechanism may have screwed up. On the power lift, have you checked the fuse?
