dash board lighting

i tried to replace the bulbs in the dash board to match my aftermarket deck, but the lighting is all through colored plastic, does anyone know where i could buy some parts to make the dash match the deck?

Re: dash board lighting

It may actually be easier to make the deck match your dash lighting. If the deck uses LEDs for illumination and possibly the backlighing (depending on the display) you should be able swap LEDs. If the factory LEDs are blue or white, then you will need to add current limiting resistors if you go to green LEDs.

If the deck uses incandescent bulbs, the color is most likely provided by little bulb condoms which can be purchased from places like Parts Express (www.partsexpress.com) and MCM Electronics (www.mcmelectronics.com).
