2002 Tracker: Worth Moding?

I've got a 2002 Tracker 4-door LT, woth the 2L 4 cylinder. I can't seem to find any decent mods for it; am I looking in the wrong places, or are there just not any good after market parts to be found? If ou know where i could find cold air intakes, or racing filters, anything really to improve performance, pleas e post. Thanks.

Not to burst your bubble but if you do find something you aren't gonna get much out of it,(although myself I have not tried to hop up a tracker). I would spend the money on something else. Just doesn't have enough displacement or really much going for it to do any good.

Re: 2002 Tracker: Worth Moding?

It's definately worth modding! You will find that there are a lot of things you can do to it and will LOVE it!
There are hundreds of sites you can check for parts, here's a few:
http://www.summitracing.com/
http://www.izook.com/
http://www.zuwharrie.com
http://www.ottindustries.com/
http://www.puresuzuki.com/suzukimain.htm
zookpower.ca forums
You will find just about anything you would need.
FYI: for off-road it's all about gears, weight of the vehicle and not power, Deep mud is the only thing horsepower is good for off-road.
On-road - there are enough things you can do to make it breath better, or add a vortec supercharger, it all depends how much money you have as with making ANY vehicle go faster.
The Tracker is very light so you don't need huge displacement, your engine only weighs 350 pounds wet! Compare that to a V8 of 1000 pounds and calculate the horsepower to weight ratio....or Torque to weight ratio, that will give you accurate comparisons.
