Front license plate bracket for 2003 Avalanche

I need a front license plate bracket for my 2003 Avalanche. It has the chrome front bumper, not the all plastic one. There are holes in the bumper but no screws or bracket. I went by my local dealer and the moron in the parts dept said that no part like that existed. Seems a bit strange to me. Any suggestions?

Here is about the best thing I could find for you. While there is a code for a front bracket (VK3) it seems that even if the dealer can get you one it doesn't fit very well. Try this link for what others did.

Let me know if the link doesn't work right.

Go to your local salvage yard ,and find a 95-98 Chevy lumina. Use longer screws in the top holes. It looks like a factory piece. Did it on mine finishes off the front end perfect.
