Ok... about an Hr or so after drivin' My wife noticed the carpet and floormat on the pass. side was wet... well while she kept an eye on it I drove on... water(condensation Im assuming) was steadily drippin from under there about dead center... but only on acceleration and around corners to the left... so made a quik stop at a shop I know well and he said it was my drain tube for the A/C... so they put it up in the air and attempted to clear it(said it was probably plugged) used a coat hanger))no charge)... well its still drippin' same as before... Id like to fix it ASAP before it ruins the carpet and I get a small lake again.... any thoughts on what I should do next???
Thnx In Advance!!! MYX |

Re: Easy One probably... 97 3.1 lumi...
There is a grommet where that tube passes through the firewall that may have fallen out or dry rotted. Instead of draining on the ground, it's draining inside the car.

Re: Easy One probably... 97 3.1 lumi...
you may want to check the heater box itself. The plastic piece under the heater core and Evap core may be cracked.
