Need Help????

i need help with converting files. i recorded some videos on my digital camera (Ricoh RDC-7 if its helps) and it saved the videos as Winamp media files. as a result it will only play in Quicktime. How do i convert it to Mpeg. I have tried using Xing Encoder but it wont let me cos of some error or other.

Try right clicking on the file you want to open, then select open with. Go through the list of programs, and select the one you wish to use, like media player, etc. That is probably the easiest. You can also look through the options in winamp, and de select it from that file type, if that makes sense.
