question

I have a 96 blazer LT and i went up north this weekend fishing, it broke down and i found out a tune up is in need, but on top of that my car keys got locked in and i had to break a window..so i chose the smallest window on the passanger side not the windows u roll up and down but the ones that are stationary adn little slit windows, i cant find where i can get these please give me any info on where to find these. Thank you

Try Triumph or Safelite auto glass.

I worked for a glass company for years...is that privacy factory tinted glass? If so, you probably broke one of the most expensive pieces of glass on the vehicle. It used to run about $250 - 300 to replace that glass. You'd have been better off breaking one of the door glasses.

You might want to try a junk yard if you think you can install it yourself. Much cheaper.

That is serisouly expensive. At the price you would be better smashing the windshield. I just got a new windshield, installed, for 219 out the door.

Same as what I was thinking, if you have comprehensive they should cover it. You don't need to tell them you broke it, also I was told by a glass guy even if you do break it yourself insurance covers it

Don't know how other insurances are but there is no deductible on my glass coverage. Glass is covered under comp not collision so I don't think the deductible applies.
