wipers only work on High

I bought an 02 Trailblazer about three months ago and know the wipers will only work if you have them on high. I called GM about the recall and they said that there are no open recalls on my vehicle. I called a local auto parts store and they said that i would have to buy a new motor b/c there is not an individual pulse board like there was on my 95 blazer. Is there any thing else that i can do that would be cheaper?

I just replaced the wiper motor on a '02 TB. I don't think it there is any other option when it starts acting like that. Retail price from a dealer is about $150 for the module/motor assembly. It is pretty simple to put on, took about 1 hr.
