Buzzing Sub
I just got 2, v1 JLw6 10'' and im running a 500/1 JL amp to them. Recently ive been hearing a buzz coming from one of the speakers. Ive checked the outside foam for tears and its not torn. I havent taken the speaker out yet to see if anything is wrong there. Anyone have any suggestions as to what might be wrong?

Re: Buzzing Sub
Sounds like interference but you only have one doing it. Check the Rca's for that side on the amp might be loose, or your sub could be damaged.

Just because a car is made in a certain country doesn't mean that it is anything like another car from that country. An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota. Cardomain |

Re: Buzzing Sub
How do you have them hooked up? Those are DVC right? And your amp is a mono-block? Try hooking up just the buzzy one in parallel at 8 ohms and see if it's still doing it. Try then with the other one. I'd wager one of your subs is blown.
