mystery problem
I have been working on my son's 1999 oldsmobile intrigue gl & have change the ecm. You can be driving the car & it just quits running. Sometimes it starts right back up, other timrs you have to wait 15 to 20 minutes. Sure could use a little help here.

i had the same exact problem with another car once, i replaced the coil packs and crankshaft sensor and it ran like new again

ummm... last time oldsmobiles and chevrolets were the same car (far as i know) was 1988-89 cutlasses and cavaliers.
funny cuz my neighbor across the street has an 88 cutlass and i have an 89 cavalier and they're the same colors... he has 17" rims and i have 16's....
