Problems with 01' XG

I was on the highway the other day and my AC crapped out on me. After the car was sitting in a parking lot for about an hour or so I started it up to come home when I realized that it was making a knocking noise coming from the passenger side of the car.

When I drive the car the knocking noise gets louder and seems to go faster as the car drives faster.

Anybody know what might be wrong with the car?
