87 pulsar question, E-brake..;-)

i have a nissan pular, its my first car and im going for my drivers liscence on the 23. os there a way to make is so i can dissconnect the emergency brake from my drive tires (i think there its front wheel drive.) so that i can pull it in and smoke my tires?

WHAT!!!! ohhhh man i don't hear this...... you want to know how to disconnect the e brake? to rip some rubber........ dude i would look into knowing more about you car and how it works before you get your license...


BECAUSE I DON"T WANT YOU ON THE SAME ROAD AS ME AND MY KIDS!!!!!



But to answer the question it's FWD and the e brakes are in the back.......

heh....if you pull in the emergency brake and start driving, you'll smoke something allright....your brake pads!!!

unless you're thinking of yanking your brake while driving (which will result in locking the wheels, cloud of smoke, flat-spotted tires, and likely loss of vehicle control), you've got the wrong idea....the brakes stop the car, while a traditional "tire smokin" is when accelerative power from the engine overcomes the traction potential of the tires (or tire, if open diff'ed). I'm not sure if pulsars have that sort of accelerative power (least not the stock ones, i know of a few that have been 'tweaked')....and if you try, you'll probably just toast your clutch/tranny (manual/automatic).

ya... so i havent tried to smoke my tires yet cause i crashed my car into a ditch...

kind of a supid move by me, but i a mok and the car seems to be in as good of shape as it was befor i hit the ditch but havent really driven it muchg since then.. it getting fixed right now.
