Im seriously thinking about buying the Aerio and i was wondering if all of you had any problems yet. I live in South Florida and I've only seen one on the road. I think they look so good. I test drove one the other day and i waited for an ad with some good deals before i buy. They have an Aerio SX for 12,470. Its with the 5-speed witch is funner to drive anyway, but i just want to make sure the car will hold together. Does anyone have any mods? Does K&N make intake for this car? Thanx for your help everyone.:frog:

Hey
My Aerio SX has 4090 kilometers (2541 miles) and it still drives like I picked it up yesterday! Its just great. I don't have any mods yet cause I'm waiting until the 3-year warranty is up before I start messing with stuff. I don't want to find out my Suzuki dealer won't cover defects because I added something to the car. I'm pretty sure (98%) that K&N doesn't make an intake cone or system for Aerio. It's a relatively new car so K&N would need some time to develop an intake. Also, they would only develop an intake system if there was a really large demand for them. Let's hope the Aerio gets a lot of aftermarket attention! You should check out http://www.r-sport.net if you wanna know more about modifying your Aerio.

Good news....
I just looked around K&N's website and found out they're looking for someone to donate their Aerio for R&D. That means if someone is willing to give up their car for a while, we'll have a K&N intake system for the Aerio on the market in a year or so. At least thats my guess... So I was wrong, there will be a K&N intake system for the Aerio! http://www.knfilters.com/vehicles/needuus.htm

I've had my Aerio SX since May- almost 5,000 miles- and with a very long road trip coming up tomorrow- it'll have almost 10,000 when I get back. It's been a great car- and Suzuki has a good record of reliability- so there shouldn't be too many problems in the future either. It's a lot of fun to drive and gets a ton of looks on the road (it could be the fact that mine is yellow
) Either way, with the fact that Suzuki is running a special 0% deal right now and the fact that they just extended the powertrain warranty 7 years or 100,000 miles- I don't think you can go wrong. And I don't think you'll find another car out there that has so many options for the price.
