97 Explorer 4WD lights flashing
My 97 Ford Explorer started having some issues last week. The 4X4 lights have started flashing on and off while driving. Originally the left front felt like it was engaging and making a loud clunking noise. I replaced the LH half shaft, and the noise went away, but the lights are flashing again.
Any ideas would be great. |

Re: 97 Explorer 4WD lights flashing
Try disconnecting the battery to clear the codes.

Re: 97 Explorer 4WD lights flashing
if your 97 is like my 96, the lites are flashing a code. are you having problems with power windows working? if so, replace power window relay under the dash to the right of the steering column. their are a bunch of relays here. the one you replace is the biggest one. should be a cover over them
