Fujimi Enthusiast 911s

I'm interested in getting a detailed 911 from Fujimi's enthusiast line, but I realized there are more than 10 in the series.

Can anyone highlight the exact differences between all of them? Some are obvious, like rally/flatnose/targa roof, but others like RS3.0, 911R Coupe, 911S Coupe, etc keep me wondering.

Re: Fujimi Enthusiast 911s

I would list them in this order:

911 Coupe S 1969 (original classic road car with a lot of chrome)

Coupe R 1967 (Lightweight racing version of the above car)
Note the gas cap on the hood and the ventilated rear side windows

911 Carrera RS 1973 (Ultimate Lightweight racing version with "duck tail")

911 Carrera 1973 Rally (rally version of the above)

Carrera RS 3.0 1974 (further developed from the 1973 RS with bigger engine and new wing)

930 Turbo 1976 (The first 911turbo road version - widebody)

911 Flat Nose (flatnose version of the turbo often tuned 500-600 hp)

911 Carrera 1985 (the classic 80's porsche in coupe version)

911 Carrera Cabriolet 1985 (cab version - the one in the picture has a widebody kit)

911 Carrera Targa 1985 (targa version)

911 Turbo 1985 (Turbo version - the ultimate classic turbo!)

The info might not be 100% accurate but should give you a clue about the difference betwen the kits :-)

BTW: Google image search is your friend!

Probably not. I doubt anyone short of an online hobby shop would actually have pics of them all. But I expect that googling the kits individually would turn up pics of them.

Re: Fujimi Enthusiast 911s

I recently bought an LP400 kit for the same reason.

Anyway, here are No. 1 through 10 and some more.

76 and 85 Turbos and 74 RS3.0 have a wide body. The rest is so called "narrow."
85 Turbo has an intercooler, while 76 doesn't. The enlarged area below the rear wing is the clue.
The rest should be self-explanatory. These kits aren't 100% accurate, especially the tire sizes are notoriously wrong.
AFAIK, only Turbo Targa and Turbo Cabriolet kits have updated engine parts like a one-piece pistons/connecting rods/crank shaft for....
um...maybe a cut model or diorama?
EM kits are challenging, but with a thorough dry fit (and I mean really thorough), you can turn them into nice models.
You get a special experience you can't get with other kits.
