hood scoop
does anybody know where they make a functional cowl induction hood for an 85 caprice... i see tons of them on cardomain.com but can never find any... if not, is there anyway of making a functional one? (not really looking for more power, but if i was to have one, id want it to work, not just be for show)

thats crazy i have a 85 caprice but i always take mine to the drag strip and i couldnt find a cowl hoood to fit it so i just bought a 5 inch hood scoop and rivited it on my hood( i cut a big hole first) then bondo it right on and it looks jsut like a cowl hood ill get u a pic soon

Hey buddy find a 85 caprice on there there isnt one dude theres impala but the hood is 1&1"2 inch bigger

Nope, Caprice and Impala use the same hood. I know, my '88 has a 1981 Impala hood on it due to wreck damage (I killed a Honda Accord with it more than 3 years ago).
