Porsche Carrera GT / GT1 racing convertion. Long WIP (ps. lot of pics)

Here is my first car on this forum.
I have been modeling since I was around 10 years old, well guess there state

So my Porsche 911 GT1 got a new use: The Porsche Carrera GT1
I have been collecting racing models since then, got quite a large collection to built. I tried some things out in the mean time, but never got one finished. But now I got an airbrush and final exams cleared, it's time to get modeling for good.

I started with testing all sort of stuff. When I came to the body, I tried Mr. Clay out of Gunze. I didn't really liked the epoxy puty in the beginning, well the man sold me a dried out version

The Mr. Clay is fantastically sculping stuff, but not for the body. It fell of after applying.

I tested another pack of epoxy puty, and yes it's going better this time.

Back to the enginebay. Well this is not what I want, so it's back to the drawingtable, Oh I didn't use that

Better do it the saleen S7-R way

The bonnet is cut away for the Porsche 911 GT1 one.

Here is a rugh idea for the engine bay

Final side look for the time being

Here is my other WIP (for over 1 year busy, had sadly not much time)
But this one stays sealed away just a bit longer. Took a pic, as was requested.

very interesting....Will you keep a white with blue/red lines livery as the Gt1? will look great

VERRY interreseting ID. I was thinking about it after reading the boxster GT1 threat, but I'm not skilled enough to do this.. It will look super. Take a lot of time to do this great.. I'll be following every step..

I'm not sure which livery i'm going to make.
Was also thinking about the old decals of the first 911 GT1, got some spare, because i'm also going to make the testmule version in future.

But this picture is also temping to make the car white, with some sponsors here and there, like the white Spyder LMP2.
First i'm going to finish the convertion itself, and like most things of the car itself are changed along the way with the building proces.
