WIP: '67 Charger
Greetings from a warm Sweden!
I've managed to sneak this build in between fixing the windows at the summer house. The plan is to give it some kind of supercharging, probably a centrifugal compressor. I have to scratch build that one and I'm not sure I'm up to that. Not that it would be very hard to do but projects like that seems to stall my progress and I rather finish it than having it half way through in the storage. If nothing else comes to my mind it'll get a black and white interior in some kind of original style. The suspension is lowered a bit and the wheel combo are from Aoshima, don't know the name of them as they where given to me by a friend. The paint still needs the clear coats, but that has to wait for a couple of weeks so the green is fully cured. It's Tamiya's Lime Green Pearl directly from the spray can on their white primer. Well, enough talking.....on to the pictures Niclas ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Nice color for a nice car, think the final result will be stunning!

Back from Spain yet or are you surfing from abroad? Stock motor to be used, maybe there will be a supercharger as well. Come visit in Falun sometime in the future. Niclas |

Re: WIP: '67 Charger
looking good but you dont have to wait for the paint to cure for WEEKS to clear coat, maybe a day or to, but then you should let it sit a while

Not that I have much choice as the kit is at the summer house and I'm about an hours drive from there at home. But we'll get back there in about a week or two so it'll get that amount of time anyway. Thank's for the advise. Niclas |

You nailed the summer perfectly I think Don't know if I can get it finished this summer, haven't even seen it in a week now as it's still at the summer house. But we're going back next week again and then it's time for some clear coats and serious SC-scratching. I'd really like to see one under the hood on this one. I can't say we're settled yet....at least if living amongst a big heap of cardboard boxes is what you want instead of furnitures in the living room You're welcome up here any time you like, just give a call so I get a chance to tidy up first Niclas |

Re: WIP: '67 Charger
Well, things aren't moving very fast due to the hot days and other things to do.
Anyway, here's what happend since the last time. got some painting started on the interior, black/white as I thought of from the beginning. Clear coated the body och got some flat black on the hood and scoop. ![]() I also started to build the centrifugal compressor and managed to almost get the gear casing ready, some small bits to fix and that part is ready. Had some problems with the material on the compressor so I'll have to take a trip to the LHS and see what he has on the shelf for me. I also have some problems making room for this outfit but hopefully I'll sort that out. Otherwise there will "only" be a stock HEMI under the hood. This is what 27 pieces of plastic looks like at the moment when you're up close. ![]() Have a nice summer! Niclas |

Re: WIP: '67 Charger
this is the revell right? hows the engine detail on this one? i was about to pick it up but i went with the 69 charger instead. the 69 is a very detailed model, probablly one of revells most detailed cars.

Re: WIP: '67 Charger
Yes it is the Revell kit and I think the engine is quite well detailed. I don't know how it compares to the 69 Charger though as I never seen one of thoose.
Maybe someone else can fill in the blanks? Niclas |
