I baught a 1996 Saturn SL (1.9 OHC) this car has been hit and repaired, but the fuel pump relay has been bypassed, I'm not sure what to do about this, its causing performance issues such as poor throttle response. any suggestions?

Hi, I just happened to run across your post. What should you do...depends on what you want...if you are about saving money, you might consider getting a factory shop manual / haynes / chiltons manual; you can then diagnose it yourself.
Or you can take it to a mechanic...hope this helps. Either way the issues might be coming from some other location... ...to add, you must have some knowledge of cars / a manual / some help or some info, since you know the fuel pump relay was bypassed...maybe you ought to check into it yourself. I just reccomend finding a way to get things back to the way they were before you started, in case you need to backtrack...good luck. |
