Re: 2007 Chevrolet Silverado

Repost... See here...

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=578064

I was reading and it was decided that it wasn't the truck. There were too many imperfections in the image itself. The badging is wrong and pixelated. It was almost as if somebody photoshopped something. It almost looks a little like a dodge....

And yes the hood is open and it's not an alignment problem...Not sure why they would have taken a pic of it with the hood open....

Let's hope it doesn't look like that. Those bumperettes are fugly as hell.

More convincing pics here...

http://blogs.edmunds.com/Straightline/1032

perhaps that is how it is going to look

Re: 2007 Chevrolet Silverado

i like the bottom picture where its lowered with nice rims and the color matched grill and bumper. Is that an extended cab?? no doorhandles looks nice and clean.

Re: 2007 Chevrolet Silverado

Looks like a big ol ugly ass Colorado to me. The lower picture does look better, but the grill reminds me of an older model S-10.

Re: 2007 Chevrolet Silverado

I am not sure if I like the new design.. I guess I will have to see it in person.. are they keeping the same engine packages?

Re: 2007 Chevrolet Silverado

That would be a LARGE..... NO.

New generation of engines coming some with selective cylinders being cut out to save gas and a bag of other new updates....

Re: 2007 Chevrolet Silverado

i thought they were still gonna hav the 4.8L and 5.3L v8s and just adding the 6.2L with the displacement on demand thing that switches from 4-6-8 cylinder when you need it.

Re: 2007 Chevrolet Silverado

i agree with pamzjoe.overweight colorado.y cant we just get the current body with the clean tahoe nose?looks like a dakota from the backwith those puffy fenders and small tail lights.the beds too small for the cab.and y do auto manufacturers insist on jamming 4 door short bed trucks in our faces?ive always like chevy for their simple, uncluttered trucks.when i see a base model ill have more to go by.but i was really lookin for an answer to the single cab 2wd hemi trucks ridin around here.they have a much simpler design than the new F150 and i was hopin the chevy would too.but for now, sorry chevy.

Re: 2007 Chevrolet Silverado

I was just thinking about this yesterday as I was sitting in traffic staring at a beautiful new Avalanche. There is no way the Silverado will look bad. It will get the same grill as the tahoes and avalanches. It has to.
