Exclamation 1991 Caprice Question

I own a 1991 Chevy Caprice with the 5.0L. It needs an Alternator and a friend of mine has a junker Caprice which i dont know the year for sure but i belive it's between 85-90 . He told me if i wanted the alternator i could just go to his junkyard and pull it out, but the thing is i dont know for sure if it will fit. I havnt' had a chance to look at the similaritys on either car and i need to know asap since he is getting all the cars in his junkyard crushed within the next week or so.

SO please if anyone knwos any info i would greatly appriciate any help what so ever. THank you

The only one that would work would be out of a 1989 or 1990 with the L03 or L05 engine.
