Power steering wheel problem!

Hi guys,

my steering wheel is acting crazy.. it is sometimes turning, sometimes it is so hard to turn, it turns like normal a few inches and then gets harder (like the car is off)... does the same over and over.. basicly it is so hard to turn the steering wheel.. like trucks.. what do you think it could be?

Re: Power steering wheel problem!

have you checked the power steering fluid level? and if you have check your belt it may be wearing down in certain areas

might not have anything to do with your power steering because if your power steering goes out and your going over 10 mph it shouldnt be to hard to steer or atlease in my g.f 71 vw beetle its fine to drive and it doesnt have power steering
