Need help concerning a $750 93 Corolla
So I'm looking for a cheap 4 cylinder car with a stickshift and I happened to spot a 93 Corolla (DX I think) for $750. Right away I can see it's going to need the driver's side rocker panel repaired from the middle of the car back to the left rear fender. Also looks like a frame rail on the right front side will need to be repaired. My dad is a skilled welder and he said they could be fixed. The car has almost 200000 miles on it. I haven't heard it run yet so I haven't been able to take it for a drive. I need to find something good on fuel, my current car, a 93 Crown Victoria only gets me about 15-17 mpg around town! How much would you think this Corolla is worth? Would it be worth buying, once I actually hear it run and drive it?

$750- plus repair panels, paint, and time seems like a lot to me. If you hold out, I believe you will find a good driver for less than $2000-.

if you buy it dont expect it to run for long...i mean corollas are tanks and all, but with almost 200,000 miles on the engine you risk it breaking everytime you start it...
