Spark Plugs
Hello Folks,
What's the best way to determine which spark plugs are bad? Is there a check without starting engine? I need to save time and not heat the aluminum block because it needs to be cool when replacing plugs. I have symtoms of either a fouling plug or possibly a bad wire. This is a 3.1, 97 Lumina and you know what a dog it is to change the rear plugs!! Does anyone know what the normal wire resistance is? Thanks XTECH |

Re: Spark Plugs
change them all. you can ohm chech each wire, but plugs and wires (in my opinion) should all be changed at the same time.

Re: Spark Plugs
acceptable plug wire resistance is 500 ohms per inch, or 6,000 per foot.
