Unhappy Transfer case shaking

I have a 88 chevy s10 4x4 and something just isn't right with the transfer case when you put it in neutrol and then put the truck in gear the transfer case starts shaking bad. and then when you try putting it in 4h or 4L from neutrol it grinds. I was wondering if it could be a bad bearing or any other ideas also will it hurt to drive it like that. It drives fine now it just makes a little noise. Any sugguestions would help. Thanks

Re: Transfer case shaking

I'll be taking 1 apart in about 2 weeks if you can wait that long, however you'll want to send me a private message or something to remind me.

I should also know how to pull them then, and might just snap some pictures if I feel it's nessary
