I lent a friend my car and he said the check oil level lit up on the car so I asked him to please check the dipstick and add oil accordingly.. well let me tell you ,., the next day I turned the car on and I see that the check oil light is still on so I checked it and I had to add 3 qrts of oil.. I asked him and he said what do you mean I put oil in it. he came over and he showed me where he put the oil and it was in the transmission. NOW that dummy did that my question is. what can happen to my car now that he put motor oil int he transmission..

Help please. Im not exactly car savvy but I know where the oils go..

Don't drive it or run the motor until you drop the transmission pan and change the fluid and filter. May even want to get it flushed - 3 quarts is a lot of oil.
As far as consequences go, it depends how long the motor was run with that cocktail.

Bob is right, drop the pan/drain the tranny fluid. Put new tranny fluid in and take it to have it flushed and replace the tranny filter afterwards. most places the filter change is included with the flush.
