Crazy part (part 2)

Well continueing from part1 i am driving heading towards mcdonalds and im going a steady 50 in a 45 4 lane road still and then not thinking much of it a Buick Regal pulls up next to me and passes me and i am just not thinking anything of it ...

then i hear a wine and im like and i speed up to check this out.... he hears me accelerating and punches and and im like WTF!!!< Because its fcken turbo'd ???? and im like super confused, has anyone ever heard of a turbo charged buick regal...?

so we get to the next light and i just passed mcdonalds and decided to ask him about his car but the light turns green ....and we both kinda launch and i just hear his turbo kick in and he TAKES OFF completly Killing me and i am stunned then he slows down for me and i just stare at his car with my jawdropped(literally) but he didnt really look at me ..... then he takes off again and im still confused but i turn around with pretty much no gas left and head to mcdonalds with my $2.25 and pick up a double chzbrger and fries and head home.....

Re: Crazy part (part 2)

Yeah those older regals would do freaking wheelies if you hopped them up, but they were quick as hell to begin with. Supercharged is correct btw.

Re: Crazy part (part 2)

Hm.... Now i feel dumb for A) not realizing it was a supercharger sound instead of a turbocharger and B) not knowing they were freakin fast

Re: Crazy part (part 2)

Was it absolutely necessary to split this into 2 threads?

Re: Crazy part (part 2)

Grand National did have a turbo...Regal's also came with a turbo on some models in the mid 80's...They were basically Grand National look-a-likes...They had a 3.8 liter turbo...no slouch
