Intake job pictures
Here are a few pictures of my intake job. Hope they turn out ok.
Some deterioration. ![]() Didn't look too bad. ![]() Check out the area under the rear valve cover. No clean up done. Front was the same I have used Havoline 10W30 exclusively ![]() After the clean up ![]() Before any cleanup. Notice the stovepipe. It was completely stopped up. ![]() This is a severely deteriorated gasket in my opinion ![]() For skeptics on the mileage. Also note where the temp gauge is. That's about where it stays now. For the last year it was right at 210.

Nice Pics Wally. For your mileage it wasn't as bad as I thought it would've been. I like that you stuffed rags in the holes to keep foreign material out. Very smart!!! The cleanliness of the inside of your engine is a testament to Havoline for sure. Maybe you should call them and show them your pics. They may pay you a royalty for a testimonial.
