93 vr4 transfer case
I was on I95 on the way home 2 days ago. While i was going my car was riding real rough, steering wheel was vibrating, did it until i get to the stop light. when i started going through the gear box, the car started making bad sounds, like the driveshaft was dragging the road. the car drove bad, i got it home 50 mph for an hour. What does that sounds like? transfer case? transmission? the clutch was put in about 4 months ago, got about 2000 miles on it? I can get in it and shift the gears fine, but when im going through the gears, it just a horrible sound, and it takes a while to get up to speed?

Are you getting a check engine light? Did you get your issue from last month resolved? Let's get the full story.

Yes...last month my light was on, it was a bad fuel injector on the rear. I had all 6 og them replaced. Drove perfect for two weeks, then when i was on my way home, it got very rough. It felt like i was riding over rumble strips for about an hour. Then when i finally got to a stop light i went through the gears and it felt like and sounded like the driveshaft was dragging. Someone said something about a carrier bearing? if the transfer goes bad, what would the car do? its not locked up, but i have it parked bc i dont wont to mess it up worse... When the guy put my cluth in a while back, he said it took him forever to get the driveshaft out and then put it in was hard to??? any suggestions???

Does sound like the carrier bearings/u-joints of the driveshaft. Might be time to look into getting a new driveshaft. If you are going to replace it, you may want to consider going with a lightweight 1 or 2 piece driveshaft. For the money it costs to replace it with a stock one, you might as well go with the lightweight. If you search 'driveshaft', 'u-joint', and 'carrier bearing' in here, you will find a few who have had the same problem. You may want to private message them to get their opinions/experience.

I called the 800 number to mitsubishi. she told me to take it to a diff dealership and i did. they called me yesterday said my t case was runied and they ordered a new one to put in it. then he said after they put it in they will drive it and if anything else is messed up bc of it, they will replace that too... Thank all of yall for the help!

My leather seats are bad now, well just the driver side? Are there any nice seat covers that just fits this car? Most I see are universal and crapy looking.
