Re: 2003 F-250 Super Duty Air Bag Light
For pretensioner codes, I always disconnect the pretensioner, put some dielectric grease on the connector and reconnect it. The pretensioner built into the female side of the buckle. Sometimes stuff thrown under the sear catches the harness and pulls the connector just a little loose. Actually, I've fixed a lot of these now that I think about it and have never ordered a pretensioner...I bet it's the connector or possibly a broken wire under the seat.

I had a first aid kit under the passenger side seat. I think that moving the seat forward and backward over time may have loosened the conection. I unpluged the connection, cleaned it with electrical connection cleaner and put some dielectric grease in the connection and have not had the light come on since. It's been a couple of weeks so hopefully the problem is solved. I also moved the first aid kit. Thanks for the advice.
