Rally Stanza

Hello. The place I work there is an ex Nissan factory rally car ( or at least I think it is). I am thinking about buying it. It needs some work, because it was put out of commison because a tree fell on the car.

Asides from a new hood, and basicly front end, it seems in good condition. I am thinking about restoring it to its former rally days.

Now the engine has no run in a while, what are some things I should look for to indicate a bad engine, ect. The front suspention is also sitting in the back seat right now.

Any information you can throw at me is good. Suspension, rally, engine, ect.

It also has the 1990+ engine in it ( the 2.4L).

Really. A rally Stanza. I've looked all around the net to see if anyone has ever done it. I doubt it was a factory rally car. Unless it's a Bluebird SSS.

I'd love to see and hear more about this rally U12 Stanza. I think it would be a good candidate for rally. They are tough cars. The suspension is essentially the same as the J30 Maxima.
