malfunctioning oil pressure guage

recently ive noticed that my oil pressure guage has been acting weird. It will flicker and shake all over the place. I've checked my oil level and changed it probably 1500 miles ago, so the problem is not with the oil. Im thinking that its a sensor somewhere. anyone had a similar problem? suggestions on fixing? thanks

Re: malfunctioning oil pressure guage

remember there are two (2) sending units
one for the red idiot light
and the other, more expensive, sender for the gauge

two completely different
