I was told that my ac condensor needed to be changed because the fins on the old one were smashed in. Just did that. My temp gauge is still going way past the half way point. almost to 230 and to redline.
My mechanic said next week we can flush the radiator. Any suggestions? Oh it's a 2001 Grand Am SE |

Re: Changed AC Condensor still overheating..help
Flush the radiator and make sure that everything is clean. Then make sure that the thermostat is working properly along with the fans. If the fans are not coming on then it will overheat. Also make sure that you have a good mix of antifreeze and water and that there is no air in the engine cooling system.
