91 integra ls
hey guys my friend got a 91 teg and for awhile the car would start but then after a little driving and turning the car off it would start back up..which lead me to believe it was his main relay. and it got worse to the point where a run around the block meant dont turn the car off if u got sumwhere to go. but now the car doesnt start period and its not getting spark but he said some dude who is a street mechanic said its the coil? if the main relay is totally shot do any of u know if that would keep the car from gettin spark? anything would help cause he's bout to buy a new dizzy and i always thought it was the relay taking a shit since its notorious for hon/ac's...let me know tanks

and if you want and can. swap them from i running car. any obd-0 dizzy parts should work great. this way you can swap the parts one by one and find the real problem and then buy the only thing that is broken. there is alot of dissasembly and reassembly involved in this.

When the main relay goes, it's usually just the fuel pump that you lose... if this problem would come and go and now has finally gone for good, and you have no spark on any cylinder, I would check the cap, rotor, ignitor, coil and make sure the wires are in good condition.
