6k too much?

Just found a PERFECT 81 el camino, recently repainted body with pinstriping, 80k original miles, it has the 6cyl, 3spd on the floor and dual exhaust. AInterior is perfect. Now im not really looking for performance, just style, so the 6cyl isnt a problem and i really like this one, but is 6k rediculous? i meen, im comfortable with the price, and can pay it off in no time. I think im just getting cold feet, since im about to drop this kinda money, i just need some re-assurance. Also, im in the NE, new york to be exact and i havent been able to find an el camino in this shape yet.

Re: 6k too much?

Hey man,
I say go for it because elkys are sweet. Im putting 7K into mine so i think 6K for the El Cam then whatever you wanna put in it will be great. It sounds like a good deal for $6000.
Good luck!
