Measuring Tape, Exhaust Shop for the piping, whatever you want to use to mount it. Then, if you want the shiney, find a chrome plater. Oh yeah, and find a K&N Cone Filter, probably 3", the same you'll probably want that piping to be. Welder so you can get the bung in for the sensor.

Why bother going through all the trouble? It doesn't improve that much anyway.

Nope, never owned that motor. But all an intake is is a piece of aluminum or steel that mandrel bent to the right dimensions and hooked together with some form of connecter, usually silicone couplings. Go to an exhaust shop for the tubing, have them adjust it to your specs. You might even need a machine shop for mandrel bending.

As far as what those "specs" are, get a damn tape measure and figure it out yourself.

Oh yeah, one last tip, I remember that the word on the street was that an intake for some year of Honda Civic could be flipped around backwards and work with the 2.2 motor.

i'm gonna figure out how to make one of those somehow...

then i'm gonna steal somebody's Z24 body kit.

then new front seats, take out the backseat, CF hood, tints, and paint

Re: Where Do I Find a WAI or CAI for an 89 L4 2.0 coupe?

You're wasting your time and money dude. Save up some money while you run that car into the ground until it dies then buy something newer with more potential. UNLESS you really do like the car, then save up some money and buy a newer motor and newer tranny, instead of wasting money on useless parts that will be sitting in front of your house only looking pretty on a car that's dead. If not, you'll just learn this the hard way like alot of other people have.

i'm not gonna run this into the ground, it only has 145,600 miles. i bought it with 126k in feb. of 04.... drove it to ohio last august with no problems.

i'll run my career and relationships into the ground before i let something bad happen to this car
