92, Changing a Fly-Wheel?
Ok.. so I've got a 92 Cavilier and it's been haveing some starter problems for some time now. I've replaced the starter twice now, and it seems like it's needed it again a 3rd time. I've been told that the reason that it goes through starters like they're candy is because the Fly Wheel has gone bad? If anyone has any pictures, or a Guide or just comments in general, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks. |

Re: 92, Changing a Fly-Wheel?
You have to pull the transmission away from the engine. After that, remove the flywheel bolts, and the flywheel, and do the reverse to install the new one...
