uh oh.
so yea. i was driving to work this morning, and i went over some railroad tracks kind fast...sorta. anyway, i mustve shook something loose or........something. but my acceleration stopped working. i drifted to a stop on the side of the road, and she cut off. it'll start up, but then just cuts off. i played with the throttle for awhile, manually giving it gas from up near the throttle body ya know? and after i kept doing that and starting it 20 or 30 times it would actually stay running for a little. but then if i tried to give it some gas she'd cut right off or come to a shuddering hault. ive got a friend with a chain and i wasn't too far from home but i found a guy to tow me for 30 bucks so i just went with that. any ideas?

Re: uh oh.
yea there was gas..plenty of it at that. i think it has a minor leak if near the filler joint so it leaks slightly when its completely full but...nothing major.

Re: uh oh.
Might have smashed the supply line shut or gave the pump a a good jolt. That's what happened iwth mine when I hit something and it flew up in the undercarraige.
A fuel pressure gauge is a must ahve if you're going to work on EFI for sure  |
