weber 45 mchh carb

Anyone got any experience with these new weber conversions for zenith stromberg replacement on 1975 mgb.

Most owners of MGB's with a Zenith Stromberg carburetor replace it with a progressive two barrel Weber DGV carburetor kit. A Weber DCOE isn't needed unless the engine has some performance modifications. The Weber DCOE is also difficult to calibrate. I don't have direct experience with DCOE carbs but I know several people that have them and they all have some engine modifications. The DCOE will generally give more top end at the expense of low end performance.

From what I remember, when i did a set of DCOes, is that they were "infinitely adjustable". And as such, were never in tune....
I won't go thru that again
